Statoil has awarded the contract for the Mariner jacket project to Dragados Offshore.
The scope includes engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of the jacket with an approximate weight of 22,400 tons, the largest jacket Dragados Offshore has ever built in its 40 year history. Detailed engineering, within the overall scope of the EPC contract, will be developed by UK-based SNC Lavalin from the offices in London, under the supervision of Dragados Offshore. The construction will be executed entirely in Dragados Offshore’s facilities in Puerto Real. The project will start immediately and be completed in June 2015. With this contract, Dragados Offshore consolidates its position in the market for North Sea EPC projects and expands its reference as a leader in the development and execution offshore Oil & Gas contracts.
