We, at Dragados Offshore, classify the information according to its origin,
to the way it contributes to the Strategic Planning Process, and to the person
in charge of ensuring its compilation and structuring through the management,
evaluation, revision and improvement systems for the compilation and analysis
of the information through the channels set and described in former Criteria.

| Information and Knowledge Management
Structure |
Access to information and knowledge, both for employees and for our stakeholders,
is ensured through the existing channels and systems.
It is worth mentioning our Intranet special relevance and efficiency as a
powerful channel for our Information and Knowledge Management System. We,
at Dragados Offshore, also have an excellent web page that allows the whole
company and any person interested in our organization to obtain a great amount
of information about it.
Our Clients and Suppliers participate actively in the Project Management
Process, so that they are given access, under different security profiles,
to the Project Management database to introduce and check relevant information.
We communicate with some clients by means of shared network resources, with
connections set through FTP. For the BUZZARD project, we have also implemented
the Daily Communication Log, through which we share and register all information
and actions about the project.
We manage the access to the information and knowledge available through our
systems and applications by defining Group and User profiles. The IT Department
carries out a regular evaluation to verify the suitability of the users with
their corresponding accesses. We use for it criteria of usage level and coherence
with management processes. Thus, we have increased the Number of Accesses
to Internet
IT Department is in charge of Managing the Information Security. The Number
of Network failures indicator underlines its effectiveness.

Everyday we perform backups that are stored in a fireproof box, and we replace
all backups every week. Security positions are set at all levels within our
organization. We also manage the computer data security and integrity by using
computer Anti-viruses. At the new premises we have an uninterrupted supply system
thanks to which information losses because of network failures have decreased.
The transformation centres of the offices and the workshops are independent.
In order to render a better service to the high number of network users,
we have developed an application that allows us to control and monitor incidences.
An improvement recently implemented out of a suggestion received by IT is
the development of an application that allows all users to make backups both
in CD and in DVD.
It is worth mentioning that we do not have registered intellectual property-
patents, royalties, etc. -, so it does not apply.
We, at Dragados Offshore, consider that the benchmarking is the most powerful
tool to acquire and increase our knowledge. This is the reason why we have
structured systems to develop these processes, both internally and externally.
At internal level, the most remarkable tools are Improvement Teams, the meeting
system and an exhaustive and structured training. Each department has its
own Intranet section where they can enter as much information as the find
suitable, which then can be accessed by anyone. At external level, we perform
benchmarking with the DINSA companies at the departments quarterly meeting.
R&D&i are also used in this sense.
The Communication Committee is the body through which we ensure the communication
effectiveness and the proper knowledge management.
We have developed an activity schedule to foster creativity and innovation
within our stakeholders, using to that end the most suitable tools.
